The maps available here are from A.J.Cuesta et al. 2010. If you use it in your work please cite our paper as well as the CLUES project (http://www.clues-project.org/) from where we took the BOX160CR constrained simulation of the Local Universe to produce the all-sky maps. Some useful information for the User: -) resolution is 3600x1800, corresponding to 0.1deg per pixel -) projection is Cartesian (plate-carre) and coordinates are Galactic (CTYPE1='GLON-CAR' and CTYPE2='GLAT-CAR') -) central flux correction is included (see paper for details) -) the observer position is fixed to have the simulated-Virgo in its real (observed) position and then rotated such that the difference between the simulated-Coma and Perseus positions and the real ones are minimised The maps (see paper for details): 1) DENSITY (DECAY) map: The map is the SUM_i m_p/(4*pi*(d_i^2)) over the particles Units of measurement [GeV cm^-3 Kpc sr^-1] Total flux = 0.155141 [GeV cm^-3 Kpc] 2) DENSITY SQUARED (ANNIHILATION) map: The map is the SUM_i m_p*rho_i/(4*pi*(d_i^2)) over the particles Units of measurement [GeV^2 cm^-6 Kpc sr^-1] Total flux = 0.0017476443 [GeV^2 cm^-6 Kpc]
